Celebration of Student Writing

I think that the celebration for Student Writing will be very interesting. I'm very happy that we were able to choose our own topics so we can learn more about our topic. I've always been very interested in podcasting but have never had the opportunity to part-take in any. I'm very excited to learn what podcasting can do for people and learn how to create one myself.

Wikipedia Page

After constructing my wikipedia article I was really excited to post it. The first time I posted the article, I was very upset because it got removed from the Site. However, once it was removed, I decided to add more information to prove that Afroflow was a worthy person to have a page and very important to learn about. I am very pleased to see that a after I posted the updated version, it still remains on wikipedia almost two weeks later. Although, at first I was somewhat frustrated with this project. However, in the end, I feel very accomplished and am very pleased with my work.

Missing the Summer....but Ready for this year!

I'm very excited for this year! I had an incredible summer and am ready to get the school year started. This past summer I had the incredible opportunity to travel to Europe. I went with Eastern Michigan University Choral Ensemble and sang in some beautiful churches around Austria and Czech Republic. After our choir tour ended, I extended my stay with my best friend and traveled around Europe for a total of a month.

We backpacked for a while and then we joined another touring group called Contiki Travel company. Contiki is a traveling company that specializes in trips for 18-35 year olds. We traveled to London, Paris, Beaujolais Wine Region, Nice, Monaco, Florence, Rome, Venice, Munich, Rhine Valley, Amsterdam and Frankfurt! It was the best experience I've ever had, and totally worth putting myself in some debt!

I'll be posting some pictures of my trip to Europe so you can see what an amazing time I had! I wish also be updating this blog on various things including school, life, and whatever comes up!
